Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has reportedly decided to foray into film production.

The 29-year-old actress, who is currently busy with promotions of her next "Bajirao Mastani," has revealed that she wants to turn producer.

"I want to venture into production and be a producer or line producer some day because I feel I have that kind of personality. I like to organise, put things together and make things happen," Padukone told the Press Trust of India in an interview, according to NDTV Movies.

"I don't want to be a producer because I want to make money. I just don't want to get involved in any kind of business in context of cinema. Profit, loss, box office none of that," she added.

Deepika's newly released "Tamasha" movie with former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor is doing good business across India. The romantic flick, which was released on Nov. 27, earned more than 38 crore rupees over the first weekend, according to the Hindustan Times.

"We all are very overwhelmed, emotional and I don't think any of us expected this response. Especially, Ranbir's performance," she said while giving credit for movie's success to her co-star.

"I won't give credit to myself. Ranbir is very talented. Whatever is happening with this one, it is Ranbir's hardwork and team effort. But I am very happy that after three of his films which didn't do well, whatever people were saying about him, has been proved false and now things have changed. I just want him to be happy," she stated, according to Pink Villa.

Kapoor's last three movies - "Roy", "Bombay Velvet" and "Besharam" - did not perform well and were declared flops.

Padukone, who has worked on hit movies like "Piku" and "Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani," will be soon seen in "Bajirao Mastani." The Sanjay Leela Bhansai-directed period romance drama is set to release on Dec. 18.
