Khloe Kardashian has spent the past week recovering from a staph infection that she contracted while caring for her husband Lamar Odom while he recovers from his near fatal overdose at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, but now that she is no longer quarantined, she was able to really enjoy her busy Thanksgiving.

Not only did Kardashian host Thanksgiving for her entire family at her own home, she also spent some of the day visiting Odom in the hospital. "After our family Thanksgiving is over, I invite friends to join, especially friends who don't have family around," she wrote on her website Thursday. "So we have a family Thanksgiving, a friends Thanksgiving and this year I will also be having a hospital Thanksgiving."

Even though this year is the best the 31-year-old reality star has ever looked, everything with Odom really took a toll on her. After he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13, Kardashian had no choice but to drop everything she was doing and be there for him every step of the way. When one Twitter user told her that 2015 was good to her, besides the "whole Lamar thing," she quickly replied, saying that 2015 was "hands down worst year of my life."

While she has had a lot to be happy about over the past 11 months, watching someone you love go through what Odom is going through is never easy. "I am someone who tries to always keep things in perspective. This year I have a deeper insight and possibly a deeper perspective now," she continued to write on her website. "I pride myself as someone who does live in the moment and as someone who shows gratitude in every corner. And I have been blessed this year with me getting another layer of what I am thankful for."

"This year, I'm overly thankful for my family," she added. "My family has been through a ton of trials and tribulations mixed with blessings on blessing on blessings. But when times get tough, my family seems to thrive and band together...Without my crazy, chaotic, amazing family, I'm not sure how I could have gone through some of the things that I was tested with this year. I'm sure we say we are all thankful for our families. And I think that is the most beautiful thing to be thankful for, but every night I thank the Lord for blessing me with the world's best support system and team of unconditional love."

"The key to contentment lies solely in being thankful for what one has been blessed with," she captioned a photo of her dinner table set for Thanksgiving. "Stop looking at what you don't have and pay attention to the blessings around you. Manifest beauty in your life. Only then will one be blessed with more."
