Khloé Kardashian, promoting new book "Strong Looks Better Naked," was interviewed yesterday on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" where she opened up about her relationship with former stepfather Caitlyn Jenner, including revealing that she learned about Jenner's transition while filming the family's hit E! reality TV series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," reported Entertainment Weekly.

"Well, I had a hard time because I found out on camera, like, while we were filming," Kardashian told DeGeneres. "And we kept asking him, Bruce, like, 'What's going on? We're hearing all these rumors.' And he kept telling us one thing, but really he knew he was transitioning and wouldn't be honest with us. So we felt like we were kind of the last to know. So that was hard for us, especially me."

Jenner transitioned from Bruce to Caitlyn earlier this year. She announced her new name in a now iconic cover photo and story in Vanity Fair. The official legal name and gender change was granted in September, as previously reported by HNGN. Jenner documented her transition in the E! docuseries "I Am Cait," which will return in 2016 for a second season.

Even though the Kardashian/Jenner family had its ups and downs with accepting Jenner's transition, Kardashian said she's "fine with everything" and the family plans to spend the holidays together.

"She's still part of the family. It's still our dad, we say, which I know is confusing to some people, but that's how we know her," said Kardashian. "She's not going to be with us on Thanksgiving cause she's working, but she'll be with us for Christmas for sure."
