Shortly after rapper Tyga turned 26 last Thursday, news broke that he and Kylie Jenner had broken up. While many sources seemed very sure of themselves that Kyga was a thing of the past, neither Tyga nor the 18-year-old reality star had announced a breakup. When word got back to Jenner, she posted a Snapchat of herself and Tyga lying in bed with the caption, "Everyone needs to chill," but while on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" this week, she explained exactly what went on.

"No, honestly, people have it all wrong," she told the host on Tuesday. "We're not broken up. We just...honestly. We became best friends before anything happened, so I think that's awesome and we're just like, I don't know, hanging out. Living life."

"What does that mean, hanging out?" DeGeneres asked, to which Jenner replied, "That's it," and added that they are "still together."

"Didn't he buy you a car or something?" the host said, referring to the $320,000 Ferrari he bought her for her 18th birthday a few months ago. "I know, I drove it here," Jenner replied with a smile.

The two were also spotted hanging out this past Sunday at the 2015 American Music Awards, as well as at the after parties, so it seems pretty clear that whatever had happened between them is no longer an issue.

"She took him back after he begged her for forgiveness," a source told People, referring to the rumor going around that he had somehow broken her trust. "He claimed that everything was misinterpreted and a huge misunderstanding."
