"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" are coming. Following their launch on "The Flash"-"Arrow" crossover event next week, the next superhero TV series will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. on The CW.

The latest DC spinoff will debut on an all-new Thursday night lineup that also includes the third season premiere of "The 100." The CW also has released the first official trailer for "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" which features its main eight characters who have already made their debuts on "Arrow" and "The Flash."

Time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) will call upon the disparate group of heroes and villains to band together to defeat an immortal threat to both the planet and history, past and future.

The timeslot change shifts current Thursday night shows, "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals," to Fridays starting on Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. Current Friday night series, "Reign," will air its winter finale on Jan. 22 at 8 p.m. and return later in the season.

The winter return dates for The CW's other shows have yet to be announced.
