Today, Rockstar Games released a new American football update for Thanksgiving week, available exclusively for Xbox One and PC users, according to International Digital Times.

"Grand Theft Auto V" is celebrating the American Thanksgiving past-time of watching football on turkey day with the special "Running Back" adversary mode, reported Gaming Bolt. The GTA American football-style game allows players to violently drive cars back and forth and to crash into each other.

Running Back adversary mode is pretty straightforward, stated Rockstar Games. Two teams (4-8 players) face off from opposite sides of a roadway. The elusive Runner, driving a Benefactor Panto, has to get across the roadway to the end zone line at the far end of the highway.

The Runner can get help from offensive teammates in BF Biftas, while the opponets go on the defense also driving Biftas and blocking or crashing into the offense.

"GTA V" offers three different maps of locations for teams to square off: Raton Canyon Bridge, La Mesa Bridgem and Zancudo Tunnel, noted VG247.

Today at 5 p.m. Rockstar will livestream on Youtube and Twitch to showcase Running Back adversary mode and other new adversary additions.
