Masala, the red panda who had escaped from a zoo in Eureka, was found and is back home at the Sequoia Park Zoo. Masala came back to the zoo on Nov. 21 after having been missing for three days.

Gretchen Ziegler, manager of the zoo, said that an unidentified person saw the 1-year-old red panda abouta half-mile from the zoo's entrance, reports The Guardian. Masala had to be bribed down from a 10-foot-tall tree, a process that took close to two hours, reports the SF Gate.

According to Ziegler, Masala seems fine as she is eating and drinking normally, though the animal has been kept in quarantine and will be given a thorough checkup by veterinarians, reports the Associated Press.

The Sequoia Park Zoo took to Twitter to announce the return of its furry friend and thank everyone involved in the search-and-recovery mission.

The Eureka Police announced the news on Facebook.
