Despite being the subject of controversy over her parenting and general personality, 22-year-old former "Teen Mom 2" star Farrah Abraham recently tweeted photos of her newest ink job, a tattoo that honors none other than herself.

The tattoo, a red heart emblazoned with the word "Mom" inked just above her left ankle, surprisingly isn't in honor of her own mother, Debra Danielsen, In Touch Weekly reports.

"Being the amazing mom I am:) #Tattoo <3 Always!" Abraham tweeted recently.

Abraham confirmed to Wetpaint that the new ink is indeed all about her. "I know I'm a great mom so this is something I know my life is about," she told the entertainment site.

Most recently, Abraham once again became the subject of public scrutiny after stating that her four-year-old daughter, Sophia, has her "own life."

"It's healthy that we have a break," Abraham told In Touch Weekly. "She has her own life and is doing her own thing, and I'm doing mine."

Bloggers, media sites and online commentors quickly launched into her, calling her everything from the "worst mom ever" to a "halfwit," and it's far from the first time that Farrah Abraham has managed to enrage the general public. She's been the source of controversy over everything from waxing her daughter's eyebrows, starring in a sex tape that she denied and continues to deny was for commercial purposes (and later signing a deal to distribute it under the title "Backdoor Teen Mom"), making bizarre comments on feminisim and Trayvon Martin, and spending thousands of dollars on plastic surgery.

She even managed to irritate Dr. Phil during an appearance on "The Dr. Phil Show," in which she denied she was driving drunk during a conversation over her DUI.
