Fire fighters in Leicester, England had to be called in at a home Monday morning to remove a cat flap off from the head of a female American bulldog, according to the Leicester Mercury.

Five-year-old Keeta was looking out her owner's window at home when she spotted a male dog in the garden. The bulldog was in season, so she decided to run towards the garden in an attempt to mate with her fellow canine.

Unfortunately for the horny pooch, she got her head stuck as she tried to get out of the house's tiny door designated for felines.

She managed to successfully rip the flap out of the door, but the flap itself remained in her head, The Huffington Post reported.

The other dog, allegedly a small terrier, saw the gap at the door and got inside the house. Nigel Page, Keeta's owner, found the dogs in the kitchen and the terrier swiftly made a run for it.

"We don't know whether they've done anything or not," Page said, according to BBC News. "She had that thing stuck on her head so she might not have been in a good mood."

The Page family is now waiting to see if Keeta, who was abused as a puppy and was adopted by the family from a rescue center, will have a litter of puppies.
