We are now just one short month away from the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." We will now allow you a moment to do the Happy Dance.

...

Feels good, doesn't it?

Though Disney and Lucasfilm have released a handful of extra TV spots, fans still haven't gotten a glimpse at several new characters. Director J.J. Abrams, in typical J.J. Abrams fashion, is keeping the film shrouded in mystery. But today, Empire has provided fans with a first official look at a new character, Constable Zuvio.

Previously, fans had seen leaked merchandise images of Constable Zuvio, but this is the first real-deal visual from Lucasfilm. The character is described as a "vigilant law officer on a mostly lawless world who keeps order in a frontier trading post." He is also "tough and humorless."

That doesn't give us a whole lot of insight into his character, but one could guess that the lawless world is Jakku where scavengers, space pirates and scoundrels like to hang out. Either way, we can't wait to find out more.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will (finally) hit theaters on Dec. 18.
