As promised by showrunner Scott Gimple and stars Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus, AMC's "The Walking Dead" has followed a non-linear narrative this season complete with time jumps and flashbacks. This is new storytelling territory for "The Walking Dead" and has helped to make season six one of the most enjoyable in series history.

It's also enabled the show to pound audiences over the head with countless mysteries. As we saw in Sunday's episode, "Always Accountable," Daryl, Sasha and Abraham took center stage while a famous comic book character made his long awaited debut.

"A lot happens in this episode that really kicks off future storylines, so I'm excited to get this one out there and be part of a big episode," Norman Reedus told IGN. "It's just fun. From here on in, it's like we just jump off of a mountain top it's so fast and thrilling."

For starters, Reedus confirmed that the character he came across is in fact Dwight, Negan's right-hand man from the comics, which could spell major trouble for certain characters.

"I will say that there's never wasted screentime on this show. Scott has things that are plotted so far in advance. Every little detail is going to come back, pretty much, to the statue that I take from them to the voice on the walkie talkie - every little thing that we do, even to the point of some of the things Dwight says resonates and Daryl uses."

"Walking Dead" fans will be sure to see Dwight again once Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who has been cast as Negan, shows up in the season six finale.

Reedus also dished on who the one crying for help over the walkie talkie was at the end of the episode.

"It's not Glenn! Don't ask me! It's not Glenn!"

Well, there goes that theory. Many had speculated that Glenn, who had last been seen seemingly being devoured by Walkers, was finally making a comeback. Alas, it wasn't meant to be just yet. But unlike the his storyline which has been ignored for several episodes now, Reedus assures fans that they'll "find out who it is pretty quick" on the other end of that walkie talkie.

"The Walking Dead" airs Sunday nights at 9:00 PM ET on AMC.
