Christina Aguilera recently presented at the 2016 Breakthrough Prize awards ceremony in Silicon Valley, Calif., according to the Daily Mail, wearing a low-cut black and gold illusions gown, which showed off her post-baby body. Aguilera — who gave birth to daughter Summer Rain Rutler Aug. 16, 2014 — shared the secrets behind her weight loss and stunning red carpet appearance.

"I try not to be so hard on myself at this point in my life," she said, according to AOL. "Women put themselves through hell to look a certain way, but just be aware of what you're body's taking in and what makes you feel good.

"It's less about depriving yourself and more about encouraging yourself to be gentle on yourself and your body, reward yourself with things like massages," continued the singer. "Going easy on yourself is the greatest gift you can give yourself, especially after giving birth."

Aguilera — who returns to "The Voice" for Season 10 in February — said that her workout routine consists of cardio and yoga to tone her body.

Aguilera joined host Seth MacFarlane and other celebrity presenters (Russell Crowe, Kate Hudson, Hilary Swank, Lily Collins and Martin Starr) at the 2016 Breakthrough Prize Awards, which honor the world’s leading scientists and mathematicians, reported Bay Area HQ.

Ten-time Grammy Award winner Pharrell Williams gave a special performance at the star-studded ceremony at Ames Research Center (ARC), which is a major NASA research center at Moffett Federal Airfield in California's Silicon Valley, according to the New Scientist.

The point behind mixing celebrities with scientists and mathematicians was to shine a light on the stars in fundamental physics, mathematics and life sciences, noted New Scientist.

“The Oscars and Emmys play a big role in popularizing actors,” said one of the Breakthrough Prize's founders, Yuri Milner. “We are trying to do the same with our prize, though we apply a rigorous scientific process to selection.”

Fox will air the 2016 Breakthrough Prize ceremony in a one-hour special Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
