Salah Abdeslam is wanted by both French and Belgian officials in connection with the Paris terror attacks, according to CNN. The Belgium-born Abdeslam is a French National suspected of being heavily involved in the attacks, with both logistics and renting at least one of the cars used.

Abdeslam's brother, Ibrahim, was one of the suicide bombers. An international warrant has been issued for Salah, 26, with French police warning of his danger, instructing people not to interact with the terrorist and to instead call police immediately.

Authorities are looking for the eighth assailant who was the driver of a black Volkswagen Polo reported by many witnesses outside the Bataclan, one of the bombing sites, Business Insider reported. The car had passed the checkpoint from France to Belgium, with two passengers, both of whom were arrested Sunday morning, but the driver, believed to be Abdeslam, is still at large.

Police stopped and released Abdeslam in a car near the Belgium border soon after identifying him as a suspect, said French officials, according to News Mic.

French President Francois Hollande has called the Paris attacks "an act of war" and has vowed "merciless revenge" on ISIS, which has claimed responsibility for the tragedy.
