An Air France flight headed to France was grounded at the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam after a bomb threat announced through Twitter was received.

The deleted account on Twitter, @jihadijohn8, tweeted, "Forget #Russia? Wait for what will happen on flight AF1741 from #Amsterdam to #Paris..#ParisAttacks," according to the Sunday Express.

Authorities searched flight AF1741 before it took off and had its 65 passengers and six crew members evacuate the aircraft. The plane was thoroughly searched, including the passengers and their luggage, but there was no bomb found.

"We always take threats very seriously and we decided here to evacuate the passengers and to search the aircraft," Dutch military police spokesman Dennis Muller said, AFP reported.

"Passengers are being helped by staff in Amsterdam, while the authorities carry out a complete check of the plane," read a statement from Air France.

The flight was supposed to leave at 2:45 p.m. local time from the Schiphol Airport but was rescheduled three hours later at 5:35 p.m.

High stress was observed all over airports in Europe after several locations in Paris were attacked. Air France flights to and from France are still ongoing, but delays are to be expected since the level of security had to be increased, according to ABC News.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced Saturday, before the Air France Amsterdam threat, that their borders, including airports and railways, have already elevated their security, according to Reuters.
