“Revenge” got off to an exciting start this season as Emily (Emily VanCamp) took a bullet to the chest and fell off a ship. This was obviously a look into the future but it still gives us something to anticipate as we head further into the season.

According to showrunner Sunil Nayar, fans could get another glimpse of what’s to come at the start Season 3’s second half.

He recently said in an interview with TVLine.com that he and his team are considering the technique but won’t use it unless they’re confident it will have the desired effect.

“But we wanted to make sure that if we did another flash-forward that it was definitively the compelling thing that was going to carry us for the [final] 12 episodes,” he told TVLine founder Michael Ausiello. “It’s definitely something we’re keeping in the hopper, but we haven’t committed to anything yet.”

In the present, many of the “Revenge” characters are in a bit of trouble. Emily is on a deadline to take down the Graysons. Due to Emily’s proclamation Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) has been completely outed as bankrupt (which you can watch below). As for Conrad (Henry Czerny), someone may have just tried to kill him.

According to ABC.com, in the next episode (which is entitled “Mercy”) Emily is going to have to work with someone she may not like to figure out why Conrad was possibly the target of murder. I’m going to wager a guess that Conrad will be her co-investigator. If the two of them are working together, watching them should be more than fun.

“Revenge” airs Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.
