James Lipton will welcome Bryan Cranston "Inside the Actors Studio" for the first time on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The episode will explore his early life and his pivotal roles in "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Breaking Bad."

"Bryan Cranston's astonishing record of roles and awards speaks for itself," Lipton said in a release. "And on our 'Inside the Actors Studio' stage, Bryan spoke for himself, eloquently, movingly, wisely and unforgettably."

Cranston next stars as Dalton Trumbo, a top Hollywood screenwriter who was blacklisted for political reasons, in the film "Trumbo," in theaters today.

FX Sets Premiere Dates for 'American Crime Story,' 'Man Seeking Woman' and More

Ryan Murphy will premiere his next FX anthology series, "American Crime Story," which will showcase the O.J. Simpson trial in its first season on Tuesday, Feb. 2. The cable network will also debut Zach Galifiankais' comedy, "Baskets," on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

TNT Renews 'Murder in the First'

TNT has renewed its crime drama, "Murder in the First," for a third season, set to air in summer 2016, according to Deadline. The show stars Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson as homicide detectives in the San Francisco Police Department.

ABC Schedules Bernie Madoff Miniseries

Richard Dreyfuss and Blythe Danner will star as Bernie Madoff and his wife, Ruth, in the ABC miniseries "Madoff" about Bernie's Ponzi scheme, the largest financial scam in U.S. history. The two-night event will air on Feb. 3 and 4 starting at 8 p.m.

Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia and Justin Hartley Set to Star in NBC Dramedy Pilot

Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Justin Hartley, Sterling Brown and Ron Cephas Jones have been cast in an untitled dramedy pilot written by Dan Fogelman for NBC, according to Deadline. It will revolve around characters all born on the same day.

Moore will play Rebecca, the lovely wife and best friend to Jack (Ventimiglia). She's about to deliver their triplets in their new hometown of Pittsburgh. Hartley will play Kevin, a handsome and successful television actor with an underlining boredom in his ultimate bachelor life.

Brown is Randall, a sharply dressed businessman and family man, based in New York, who is raising two young daughters with his wife, Beth. Jones will play Randall's biological father who abandoned him at a fire station shortly after his son was born.

QUANTICO: "Happy Endings" star Eliza Coupe will join the ABC freshman series as Hannah Wyland, according to TVLine. She will first appear in episode 10, set to air in early 2016, with the possibility for the part to turn into a series regular role.

Wyland graduated from the FBI academy seven years ago. Her ambition, combined with her looks and her confidence, has rocketed her past her competition in the intervening years. The official character description, obtained by TVLine, says, "She can turn on the soap, sex and romance, but at heart she's a hardcore career agent with countless notches in her belt."

LIMITLESS: Georgina Haig, who previously starred on "Fringe" and "Once Upon a Time" (as Elsa), will recur on the new CBS series, "Limitless," as Piper, according to io9. It's unknown when she will debut or how many episodes she will appear.

Her character is described as being "once like Brian (Jake McDorman), naïve and sheltered - then she lost everything. Now, self-trained in many forms of combat, she has a mission to stop the man who took it from her - with Brian as either her ally or her enemy."

GREY'S ANATOMY: Someone is going to therapy on "Grey's" and longtime TV actor Bill Smitrovich will play his or her therapist, according to TVLine. The particulars of Smitrovich's role are being kept under wraps, but will reportedly show up in episode 10 as a "easy, funny, kind, fatherly" shrink.

GREASE: LIVE: Get ready for the greatest year at Rydell High with Principal McGee, who will be played by "Saturday Night Live" alum Ana Gasteyer in the Fox musical event, according to Entertainment Weekly. The show goes live on Sunday, Jan. 31.
