Russia's state-controlled television accidentally aired confidential information about the country's nuclear torpedo that can be launched via submarine. The Kremlin is expected not to divulge such information so people see it as something that was done intentionally.

Th document contained illustrations and descriptions of a weapon that appears to be a nuclear torpedo. The weapon, a nuclear warhead dubbed the "Ocean Multi-purpose System 'Status 6'," was seen on television for a few seconds, ABC News reported. The footage has been removed from television.

"It's true that some secret information was caught by the camera and therefore it was subsequently removed," said Dmitry Peskov, President Vladimir Putin's spokesperson, according to Fox News. "We hope this will not happen again."

The video with the details was observed as something that was done deliberately because the Kremlin holds restricted security over what is shown on Russian television. and this is the time when West and Russian relations are not going well.

Alexander Golts, an independent military analyst who is presently based in Moscow, believes so.

"I have a feeling it was shown in order to scare the world," Golts said, according to the Associated Press. "It's an attempt to offer an asymmetrical answer to the U.S. missile defense."

There have been no details released about the situation pertaining to those who were responsible for the secret nuclear weapon leak.

"In the future, we will certainly take preventive measures not to let it happen again," Pesko said, according to CNN.
