Country star Kellie Pickler and her songwriter husband Kyle Jacobs teased fans with what they can expect on their new CMT reality TV series "I Love Kellie Pickler" in an interview with Fox 411 Country. The husband and wife music duo dished about why they decided to open up their lives for viewers to see and the two sitcoms that inspired the format for their new show.

"Well for us, it felt like the right thing at the right time," Pickler told Fox 411 Country. "We really get to show the world some of our silly crazy fun friends that we consider to be family, and I feel like with the show, we've captured so many sweet moments of just real people and real situations."

The "Best Days of Your Life" singer and "American Idol" alum gushed about her love for the late comedian and actress Lucy Ball and her iconic television sitcom "I Love Lucy," which followed the actress and her musician husband Desi Arnaz as they got into often silly antics. Another show that Pickler likes is the hit '90s sitcom "Friends," and she said that her new reality show is a mix of the two.

"The whole 'I Love Lucy' thing is she's Lucy-ish and I'm Ricky-ish kind of," Jacobs explained.

"Well, I get myself in some kind of crazy little shenanigans," Pickler chimed in.

"And I gotta get her out," her husband replied.

The one thing that fans won't see much of is the music business side of the couple's lives, and Pickler said that it's because she wanted a chance to show fans a more personal side of who they are as a couple.

"It's really kind of who we are when we clock out," she said.
