Stephen Colbert is the latest person to weigh in on Starbucks' holiday cups controversy. Last night on "The Late Show," Colbert tackled the issue of Starbucks' plain red cups and even debuted his own version of the cup for people who claim that the coffee shop has declared a war on Christmas.

"We're about to enter the magical season of getting angry that there's not enough talk about Christmas," Stephen Colbert said on Wednesday's "Late Show."

"I can see why people might be all frothed up about this. Now, Starbucks is completely devoid of any trace of the holiday besides the Christmas tree ornaments, advent calendar, CDs of Christmas music, Christmas-themed gift cards, Christmas cookies and giant displays of their Christmas Blend coffee."

As an alternative to Starbucks' plain cups, Colbert pulled out a red cup that was completely decked out in Christmas-themed decorations, including lights, ornaments, tinsel and a manger on the top. When Colbert raised the cup a little higher, it was revealed that it was actually sitting on top on a mini Christmas tree.

"Don't fight this: Give the customers a cup so crammed with Christmas, they'll be picking tinsel out of their Yule log for months," Colbert joked. "What a festive way to start my day."
