Chick-fil-A is doing something special this Veteran's Day. The fast-food chain is honoring veterans this year by offering free meals to veterans and active-duty military personnel, according to Fox News.

One specific restaurant, however, is taking it one step further. The Chick-fil-A in Marietta, Georgia is honoring veterans with a "Missing Man Table," according to KTLA. On the table sits a folded American flag, a place setting, and a letter with the title "Missing Man Table," according to KTLA.

In the letter is a note, stating, "This table is reserved to honor our missing comrades in arms. The tablecloth is white - symbolizing the purity of their motives when answering the call of duty. The single red rose, displayed in a vase, reminds us of the life of each of the missing and their loved ones and friends of these Americans who keep the faith, awaiting answers."

"The vase is tied with a red ribbon, symbol of our continued determination to account for our missing. A pinch of salt symbolizes the tears endured by those missing and their families who seek answers. The Bible represents the strength gained through faith to sustain those lost from our country, founded as one nation under God. The glass is inverted - to symbolize their inability to share this evening's toast. The chair is empty - they are missing," it concludes, according to Fox News.

The display was set up on Saturday, and will remain in the restaurant all week. During this time, customers will be able to leave their own notes of appreciation, according to WSBTV
