Pamela Anderson revealed she has finally been cured of Hepatitis C, and posted a nude photo on Instagram to celebrate the news on Friday, according to US Weekly.

"I am CURED!!! - I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live," Anderson wrote.

"I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment," she continued. "It will be more available soon. I know treatment is hard to get still...#don'tlosehope #itworkedforme #thereisacure," she added, ending the post with a slew of hashtags. The post was accompanied by a photo of the "Baywatch" star posing in a car completely nude.

Anderson picked up the disease in 2002 after she apparently shared a tattoo needle with ex-husband Tommy Lee, according to Gossip Cop.

In August, the 48-year-old said in an interview that doctors had prescribed a new FDA-approved drug regimen which would cure her of the disease. "I could be Hep C free within the month," she said then.

"I don't have any liver damage and I don't have any side effects. I'm living my life the way I want to, but it could have eventually have caused me some problems, and so it was a real blessing that I was able to get the medicine. I'm halfway there," she said, according to People.
