A Palestinian man was shot dead after driving into a bus stop, injuring four Israelis on the Westbank close to the Jewish settlement of Tapuach Sunday morning, police said, according to AFP. The man's death follows the latest wave of violence in the Palestinian - Israeli conflict.

The man rammed his car into a bus stop where Israelis commonly hail cars for rides before getting shot and killed by Israeli forces. Police spokeswoman Luba Samri explained that two of the Israelis were moderately wounded in the attack, according to The Times of Malta. She also reported that a Palestinian woman later stabbed a security guard in the leg at a West Bank settlement. The guard was moderately wounded and shot the woman, wounding her.

At least 9 Israelis have been killed from the start of October due to Palestinian frustration regarding the heightened rise of Jewish presence at a holy site in Jerusalem, Al Jazeera reported. Israeli forces have killed at least 77 Palestinians, many of them teenagers. Israel alleges that 44 of the Palestinians they killed were planning on conducting attacks on Israeli's. The remaining 27 Palestinians were killed as a result of clashes between security guards and Israelis. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will discuss the violence occurring between the Israelis and Palestinians while in the White House Monday.
