Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb will serve 18 days in an Arizona jail and 72 days under house arrest, according to ESPN.

Police stopped McNabb in Gilbert, Ariz. while driving impaired after crashing into a car stopped at a red light, TMZ reported. Video of McNabb talking to police was released by TMZ in July, and the former quarterback stated that he was not drunk.

McNabb's attorney, Thomas Connelly, informed Phoenix TV station KTVK that his client will serve the 18 days in jail and finish the remainder of his 90-day sentence under house arrest. McNabb is expected to report to jail on Nov. 30, according to ESPN. This was McNabb's second DUI, and a third DUI in Arizona within 84 months could result in a two-year prison term, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

The former NFL quarterback had a Hall of Fame worthy career, and whether he will eventually get invited to Canton, Ohio is still a debate. McNabb played 13 seasons in the NFL and spent 11 of those seasons in Philadelphia. McNabb ended his career playing for the Washington Redskins and the Minnesota Vikings. McNabb, at one point, was a dominant player in the league, and led the Eagles to five NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl.

McNabb had been working for Fox Sports and NBC Sports Radio but has been out of the spotlight since his arrest, according to Florio. McNabb stated last week that he does not have a drinking problem, via ESPN. "Absolutely not. Could that have been avoided? Absolutely. I'm not running from it at all. But is there a problem? Absolutely not."
