"Empire" is adding a TV reporter to its hip-hop drama and she will have plenty to cover when she starts her reporting on Empire Records.

Annie Ilonzeh will join the "Empire" cast as TV reporter Harper Scott in the back half of its second season, according to Entertainment Weekly. She will appear in the last eight episodes that will air this spring after the Fox drama returns from its midseason cliffhanger.

EW described her character as "one of the best reporters in the business and focused on Empire. She's tough, smart, and not above using her seductive appearance to get answers."

But will her feminine wiles be enough to get Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) to go on the record about his sometimes shady business practices? Will have to wait and see.

Ilonzeh previously starred in the 2011 reboot of "Charlie's Angels" on ABC and most recently wrapped a recurring role on USA's "Graceland." Her other past credits include "Arrow," "Person of Interest," "Drop Dead Diva" and "General Hospital."

"Empire" airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
