Adele recently went makeup-free for her cover of Rolling Stone. The English songstress stripped down for her photo shoot for the November issue of the magazine, and revealed intimate details of her life in the new interview. Adele opened up about what it was like working with her idol, Blur front man David Albarn, talked about her fear of fame and revealed who she would like to join her squad.

Adele posed with wet hair and a white towel draped around her neck in the cover photo, which was posted to her official Instagram. She wore minimal make up to go along with the just-out-of-the-shower look, which showed off her dewy complexion.

During her interview, Adele said she attempted to collaborate with Albarn on songs for "25," her highly anticipated new album, but none of the songs were suitable for her record. Albarn later told the press that she was "insecure."

"It ended up being one of those 'don't meet your idol' moments," she told Rolling Stone. "And the saddest thing was that I was such a big Blur fan growing up. But it was sad, and I regret hanging out with him."

Adele also opened up about her fear of fame, and cited Amy Winehouse's public demise and death with why she feels that way.

"Watching Amy deteriorate is one of the reasons I'm a bit frightened," Adele said. "We were all very entertained by her being a mess. I was fucking sad about it, but if someone showed me a picture of her looking bad, I'd look at it. If we hadn't looked, then they'd have stopped taking her picture."

She also revealed that she does have a squad, but it's nothing like Taylor Swift's.

"But maybe Rihanna can be in my squad! That would be really cool," Adele said. "Oh, God. She's life itself, isn't she? I love her."
