Shia LaBeouf is starring in the upcoming movie "Nymphomaniac" by controversial director Lars von Trier. As the title suggests, the racy film follows the Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg), a woman who is a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, who is found beaten in an alley and recalls her past sexual experiences.

LeBeouf will play Jerome. There hasn't been many details about his character revealed but von Trier recently released 14-different movie posters, and let's just say, they're hot.

The posters feature a naked LaBeouf puffing on a cigarette and the other 13 characters in the middle of what appears to be an orgasm. The movie also stars Stellan Skarsgard, Jamie Bell, Christian Slater, Connie Nielsen and Uma Thurman.

According to MTV, von Trier wants to make two versions of the movie - one rated NC-17 and an R-rated version. It was rumored that the NC-17 version would feature actual, real-life sex. Von Trier "set out to make an epic film, chronicling the sexual life of a woman, Joe, played by Charlotte Gainsbourg," MTV reports.

LaBeouf told MTV that he knew what he was getting himself into when he agreed to star in "Nymphomaniac" and was willing to do whatever the director asked him to do.

"[Von Trier] is very dangerous," he said. "He's the most dangerous dude that I've ever showed up for. I'm terrified. I'm so terrified, which is why I have to go. We'll see what happens," he said. "[The movie] us what you think it is. It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he's making. "

"For instance, there's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real," he continued. "Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."

Another producer on the film, Louise Vestin, told The Hollywood Reporter that the actors won't be actually having sex for the movie.

"We shot the actors pretending to have sex," he said. "And then had the body doubles, who really did have sex, and in post we will digital-impose the two. So above the waist it will be the star and below the waist it will be the doubles."

The movie supposed to hit theaters in Denmark on Christmas Day and the U.S. next year.
