Retailers will have to pull Rockstar Games' latest hit "Grand Theft Auto V" off of store shelves and wait for updated versions to come out after the recall, that is, if rapper Daz Dillinger gets his way.

The rapper has sent Rockstar a cease and desist letter after accusing the game developer of using his music on one of the game's radio stations without his permission and without giving him proper compensation, according to a report from TMZ.

According to Dillinger,'s attorney, the tracks "C-Walk" and "Nothin' But the Cavi Hit" are used in the record-setting video game despite the performer turning down Rockstar's "offensively low offer of $4,271.00 for both songs.

According to IGN, the ex member of Dogg Pound has issued both Rockstar and its publisher, Take-Two an ultimatum. They can make him a better offer for the tracks or recall and destroy all unsold copies of the game.

When speaking to TMZ, the rapper said that the move had everything to do with "respecting an artist's work. Rockstar didn't do that here and I can't let them get away with it."

Rockstar has already sold more than 15 million copies of "Grand Theft Auto V." There's no telling exactly how many are on store shelves but the number has to be huge in order to accommodate the massive demand for the game. "Grand Theft Auto V" has sold so many copies that it has broken seven of Gunniess' World Records for most popular entertainment and video game titles.

Rockstar has 14 days to respond to Dillinger's ultimatum.
