Donald Trump is in yet another feud. The GOP presidential candidate has found a new enemy in HBO's "Last Week Tonight" host John Oliver, who recently said he did not "really care" about Trump "in any capacity."

The Republican billionaire fired back at Oliver on his usual medium - his Twitter account - and claimed that the late night host really did want him on his show. "John Oliver had his people call to ask me to be on his very boring and low rated show. I said 'NO THANKS,'" Trump wrote on Twitter. "Waste of time & energy!"

However, according to the "Last Week Tonight" official Twitter account, Trump was never contacted by the HBO show.

"A couple of points...1. Yes, we have a boring show. 2. At no point did we invite Donald Trump to appear on it," the account wrote on Sunday.

Oliver, who got his start as a correspondent under Jon Stewart at "The Daily Show," told "The Late Show" host Stephen Colbert that he "couldn't give less of a f--k" about Trump and the 2016 presidential election in general.

"It's the 2016 election and it's 2015 right now, I don't care until we are in the same year as the thing I am supposed to care about," Oliver said.
