The first song from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's upcoming movie "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" was released on Wednesday. The song titled "Prem Leela," based on the Hindu epic drama "Ram Leela," is a typical Salman Khan dance number. It features Salman in an electric blue kurta.

"I specially asked Himeshji (music director) to compose 'Prem leela' for Salman bhai. This song underlines his character's innocence and large-heartedness. I was completely smitten by this track and am really glad with the way it has turned out," filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya said, according to Times of India.

The #PremLeela hashtag has been trending since its release and more than 1,000,000 people have watched it already on Rajshree production house's official YouTube account.

The trailer of the movie created history as it racked up more than five million views within 24 hours of its release, according to Indian Express. It is still going strong with over ten million hits.

Apart from Salman Khan, the movie also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Anupam Kher, Armaan Kohli and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo," produced by Rajshri Productions and presented by Fox Star Studios, is set to release on this Diwali, Nov. 12.
