Kobie Eubanks is a top 100 recruit in the class of 2015 and is one of very few of those top 100 that has not committed to a school yet. The problem for Eubanks was the fact that he was not yet ruled eligible by the NCAA so schools were unsure what to do with him but now it is being reported that he has gained his eligibility and is ready to start the process of choosing a school, according to Adam Zagoira and Zach Smart of SNY.tv.

Eubanks currently has his list of schools down to three and they are Georgetown, Baylor and Texas A&M. The 6 foot-5 shooting guard plans to take official visits to both Texas A&M and Georgetown in the near future but won't take an official visit to Baylor. Eubanks previously had committed to Baylor but de-committed due to his eligibility issues. He is still strongly considering the Bears but won't have to take a visit there at this point.

After de-committing from Baylor Eubanks had also committed to Alabama but did not enroll because he was not cleared by the NCAA. His eligibility issues come from a lawsuit he and his father filed against his old public high school which claimed grade manipulation. That lawsuit was the reason he could not get his scholarship to Baylor or Alabama.

Now that the eligibility issues are figured out Eubanks can go back to the recruiting process to figure out where he wants to play his college basketball. Between the three schools it is seemingly wide open right now as he still has to take two visits but Baylor is likely the slight favorite due to his familiarity with the school. Eubanks will not be able to enroll to whatever school he chooses until the second semester because it is too late for the first and that means he won't be able to play until the second half of the 2015 season.

Eubanks is ranked as the 96th best overall prospect in the 2015 class, according to 247 Sports, and he is known for his sharpshooting. In his final year of high school he averaged 18.5 points, led his team to a 23-4 record and he is considered an elite shooting prospect. Baylor is already ranked number 21 in the nation in the preseason poll for 2015 and they are bringing in a few solid freshmen so they expect to be good this year but adding another four-star in the second half of the season would only help them even more.
