Harry Giles is a consensus top three recruit in the 2016 class and his recruitment has been interesting to watch. All along Duke has been the favorite based on what recruiting experts have said but Giles and people close to him haven't really given much of an indication on which way he is leaning. Giles has now reportedly decided that he will announce where he will play his college basketball on November 14th, according to Rick Lewis of Phenom Hoop Report.

Giles has been inching closer to a decision in recent weeks as he is in the middle of taking his official visits and has cut his list down to four schools. As of right now Giles is considering Duke, Kentucky, Wake Forest and Kansas after he eliminated UNC from the pack when he decided not to take an official visit there.

Giles has already officially visited Wake Forest, Kentucky and Kansas but he is scheduled to visit Duke on Halloween weekend and his high school coach, Steve Smith, thinks that the fact that Duke has the last visit bodes very well for them.

"They have the last visit and that was done purposefully and that was a good move on their part I think because when the smoke clears and his head's spinning a little bit now he goes to Duke for the final visit, so it's going to be interesting," said Smith, according to Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv.

Aside from Duke being his last visit Mike Krzyzewski and company have a couple of other things going for them in his recruitment as well. One of them is the fact that Giles is from High Point, North Carolina and he reportedly loves the idea of being able to play college basketball close to home so with that in mind Duke and Wake Forest would seem to be the two favorites.

Another thing going for Duke is the fact that they already have a commitment from Jayson Tatum who is one of Giles' close friends. Giles and Tatum had talked previously about teaming up to play together in college and although they made no guarantees it was clear they had significant interest in being Blue Devils together.

Duke already has the number two recruiting class in the nation for 2016 with two five-stars (including Tatum) and a four-star but Giles would bring them to number one as ESPN ranks him as the number one overall recruit in 2016. Duke's class will be fine with or without him but Giles is a guy they have really wanted all along and, although he hasn't taken his official visit there yet, it seems like all signs are pointing in that direction.
