Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant should play this weekend barring any setback, according to NFL reporter Rand Getlin.

Bryant returned to his first team practice this week, and the Cowboys are optimistic that their star receiver will return this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks. The Cowboys are sticking with quarterback Matt Cassel this week after he threw three interceptions against the New York Giants last week.

"He's a guy that goes out there, takes charge, isn't afraid to do, to play," said center Travis Frederick, via ESPN. "Not timid at all and does a good job of working with us and working into our system. He just, for being here only a couple weeks, fits in well."

Cowboys' fans are hoping that the return of Bryant will elevate Cassel's play this weekend. Bryant is arguably one of the best receivers in the league, and last season, he put up the numbers to prove it. Bryant had 88 receptions for 1,320 yards and 16 touchdowns last season, and head coach Jason Garrett is probably hoping to get some of that productivity back this weekend.

The Cowboys are 2-4 and have a crucial game this weekend against Seattle. Dallas is trying to keep pace in the NFC East, and they hope the return of Bryant will end their four-game losing streak. It will be interesting to watch Bryant on Sunday and to see if he is able to get any separation from a great Seattle secondary.
