HBO hopes to bank on sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll in the latest project from "Boardwalk Empire" creator Terence Winter. The music drama "Vinyl" stars Bobby Cannavale and boasts executive producers Martin Scorsese and Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger.

"Vinyl" will debut its two-hour premiere directed by Scorsese on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. Cannavale stars as a record label president, Richie Finestra, in 1970s New York City. Richie traverses the sex- and drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco and hip-hop while trying to save his company and his soul without destroying everyone in his path.

The 10-episode first season also stars Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, James Jagger and Paul Ben-Victor.

February will also see the return of "Girls" and "Togetherness." The 10-episode fifth season of Lena Dunham's "Girls" will kick off on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 10 p.m. followed by the eight-episode second season of "Togetherness," from brothers Jay and Mark Duplass, at 10:30 p.m.
