Programmers working on "Star Wars Battlefront," a Next-gen systems reboot of the popular game released in the early 2000s, have released a new beta, recording more than 38 lifetimes worth of game time, according to Polygon.

The new game, scheduled for release on Nov. 17, allows players to immerse themselves in the grand galactic struggle of good vs. evil and play as some of their favorite characters in the series, like Han Solo, Princess Leia and even the notorious Emperor Palpatine.

The beta version of the game, which limited player's gameplay and capped off character levels at 5, saw more than 9 million players, with 6 million leveling up to the absolute max, according to Gamespot.

These numbers indicate that the sales for the game will be astonishing.

Developers for the game posted the impressive statistics they compiled from the gameplay, recording 1.6 billion minutes played, making it the biggest beta ever released by the company, according to EA.

The game will be available to play on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and will also have three multi-player modes.

Gaming reviewers says that EA is projecting around 9 to 10 million copies of the game to sell, according to Yahoo News.
