Microsoft has made it to the Big Apple. Fifth Avenue in New York City saw the opening of Microsoft's first flagship store Monday, according to Fortune.

The new store is the biggest of any Microsoft retail location to date, coming in at more than 22,000 square feet, according to CNBC.

The store stands five stories high with a completely glass front, according to the Wall Street Journal. And it's located at 677 Fifth Ave. in Manhattan — prime real estate for any company.

The new location features an Answer Desk, which many equate with Apple's Genius Bar. The design of the flagship store itself is also very similar to many Apple stores throughout the country.

The Fifth Avenue store will employ 160 people, speaking 19 languages, according to Fortune. There will be 198 LCD monitors, a monitor tower consisting of 36 monitors and 36 video walls. There will even be enough room to host an event for up to 60 people.

Each floor serves a different purpose, the second floor is used for Xbox gaming, the Answer Desk and a community theater, according to the Wall Street Journal. The third floor is reserved for Dell products, and the fourth floor is a space for employees.

Along with the new store launch, Microsoft began selling its new Surface Book laptop and the Surface Pro 4.
