S.S. Rajamouli, the director of India's most expensive movie "Baahubali," has denied the rumours on the third part of the blockbuster franchise.

"Two parts will not be dragged for the sake of it. This story will conclude with the second part itself. Baahubali-3 will be done in a way," Rajamouli tweeted Sunday.

"Looks Like I created more confusion instead of giving clarity..apologies," the director of two-part epic movie said.

Rajamouli fuelled the rumours Saturday about third instalment of India's biggest blockbuster by saying that third part of the "Baahubali" franchise is on the cards, according to Bollywood Life.

"Many rumours on Baahubali-3..:) The story will conclude with part-2. No dragging..but the world of Baahubali will continue in a way that's been never experienced before ever," the Tollywood director tweeted a day before, according to Indo Asia News Service.

"Will reveal the details when appropriate, don't believe the rumours. Only I know what's going to come," he wrote.

Rajamouli is currently busy with the pre-production of "Baahubali 2" ( "Baahubali - The Conclusion"), according to New Indian Express. Part two, which is scheduled to release by December 2016, features Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in important roles.

"Baahubali" ("Baahubali - The Beginning"), featuring Telugu stars Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles, stormed the box office earlier this year. The epic drama completed 100 days in theatres on Oct. 17.
