The wedding of popular Chinese celebrities Angelababy and Huang Xiaoming made Kim Kardashian's highly publicized wedding look modest!

While the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star spent $20 million to get married — $12 million on her wedding day and $8 million on the ring — they were outspent by Angelababy and Huang by $11 million.

Nonetheless, Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding remains the most extravagant at $34 million, reported Refinery.

Angelababy and Huang's lavish wedding — which was live-streamed online — took place in Shanghai, China, reported Forbes. Two thousand guests were welcomed into the garden castle-themed wedding hall adorned with exquisite chandeliers above the vast red carpet with gold accents.

The 10-foot-tall carousel-shaped cake reportedly took a month to assemble, and the guests left the celebration with extravagant gift bags containing cell phones, stained-glass window lights and a giant wall of flowers.

Angelababy wore a custom Christian Dior wedding gown made of 115 feet of ivory satin organza and 165 feet of tulle, which took five months to create because of its intricate embroidery of 100 hand-cut rose bouquets made of Chantilly lace, sheer sleeves and 10-foot-long train.

Huang proposed to Angelababy with a $1.5 million Chaumet ring that features a five-carat pear-shaped diamond with another half a carat of diamonds around it.

Making the most of their France visit, the couple took prenuptial shots at the Eiffel Tower where the bride wore a series of Elie Saab garments.

Prior to the wedding, the couple dated for six years.

Huang is a famous Chinese actor who starred in one of Taiwan's biggest TV shows and dozens of blockbusters. In 2007, he became the first Asian celebrity to grace a Gucci ad.

Born Angela Yeung, Angelababy is an actress, model and singer who starred in over 25 Chinese films and three TV shows. She has begun appearing in American-made movies, snagging a role in "Agent 47" and as a cast member of the upcoming "Independence Day 2" with Will Smith.
