Last night some of the biggest names in music took the stage at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn for a charity concert that was sponsored by the music streaming service Tidal. The concert titled, "TIDAL X: 1020 Amplified by HTC," was the hottest ticket in town and featured performances by Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z and many more!

The goal of the charity concert was to raise money for the New World Foundation, an organization that funds social movements. An estimated $1 million was raised Tuesday night thought ticket sales alone, reported the Daily Mail.

"I wanna thank every person here tonight," Jay-Z told the sold-out Brooklyn crowd. "We raised a lot of money, and we're also having a good time."

Throughout the event each artist had a small window of time for either a song or a small sampling of tracks, Billboard reported. The night was a celebration and a way to thank subscribers for helping Tidal reach one million subscribers.

While about 25 acts took the stage, the night was completely owned by the big names.

Jay-Z popped up during rapper Fabulous' time onstage, and helped him perform the song "Brooklyn," a nod to their hometown. During his own set, the "99 Problems" rapper was joined by Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and his wife, Beyoncé. Queen B also joined Nicki Minaj in front of the crowd for their anthem "Feeling Myself," which was the first time the duo performed the song live, according to the New York Daily News.

Other artists who performed at the concert event included Usher, Nick Jonas, Meek Mill, Damian Marley, Thomas Rhett and French Montana.
