The New York Giants travel to Lincoln Financial Field Monday night to face the Philadelphia Eagles in a huge NFC East matchup. The Giants sit alone in first place in the NFC East at 3-2, but the Eagles are only a game behind, at 2-3, making this game crucial for both teams.

The Eagles are coming off their most impressive win of the season over the New Orleans Saints, in which they scored a season-high 39 points. Head coach Chip Kelly will try to keep their offense rolling Monday night against the Giants. The Eagles are 5-0 against the Giants on Monday Night Football, and they will look to continue that streak.

Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford has looked like a different player the past three weeks, and will look to improve on his numbers Monday. Bradford threw two touchdowns to four interceptions the first two games of the season, but since then he has thrown six touchdowns to two interceptions.

Kelly will give Bradford opportunities to throw the ball all over the field, as the Giants have the 30th best pass defense in the league and are giving up over 300 passing yards a game. While Bradford seems to have found his way in Kelly's system, he is not the only one, as DeMarco Murray seems to have figured it out as well. Murray has rushed for 130 yards this season, but 119 of those yards have come in the past two games. With three dominant running backs in DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, and Darren Sproles, the Giants will have to be on their toes as any one of them can take off.

The Giants have won three straight behind quarterback Eli Manning. The former 2004 first round pick is off to a great start this season, and has thrown 10 touchdowns to two interceptions. Manning's top target is star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who is reportedly expected to play tonight despite a hamstring injury.

Beckham Jr., has 428 receiving yards this season and has scored three touchdowns. The Giants also expect Rueben Randle to play Monday, despite a hamstring injury. Randle is the team's second-leading receiver with 217 yards and two touchdowns.

Giants running back Rashad Jennings will see a majority of the carries, as he is the team's leading rusher. But running back Shane Vereen will be in on third down passing situations, as he is great pass-catching running back. Last week against the 49ers, Vereen caught eight passes for 86 yards with a touchdown.

This Monday night matchup could have major implications on the NFC East division down the road, and both Giants coach Tom Coughlin and Eagles coach Chip Kelly know the importance of this game.

The game starts at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time, and you can watch the live broadcast here.
