Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett is seen as the best player in college football at least by one NFL scout, according to Chase Goodbread of College Football 24/7.

Garrett won't be eligible till the 2017 NFL Draft, but like Heisman frontrunner Leonard Fournette, that hasn't stop NFL scouts from talking about him. Garrett is listed at 6-foot-5, 260 pounds, and has already put up monster numbers in his sophomore season.

Garrett already has 25 tackles and 7.5 sacks this season, and is showing that he can be a pass rusher at the next level. "He's the best player in the country," said an NFL scout, via nfl.com. "He's absolutely explosive off the football. A very special first step, as good you'll see. He's elite. The guy is explosive, can turn and bend the corner, all of that. It's impressive. Pound for pound, he has good strength, too, but that's not his game. He's such a good athlete, he doesn't need much of a rush plan to create havoc."

Scouts will likely be following him closely this weekend and will want to see how he performs against a powerhouse program like Alabama. Garrett had 53 tackles and 11.5 sacks his freshman season, and it looks like he will improve those numbers this season. Many saw this coming for Garrett, as back in high school, he dominated offensive lineman and made it look easy to get to opposing quarterbacks seen in this video.

Garrett will probably be a top ten pick in 2017, and plenty of NFL teams would be happy to have this talented pass rusher.
