Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell's speed has NFL sources concerned, and has him viewed as a high first round pick, according to Charlie Campbell of Walter Football.

Treadwell is listed at 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, and has a great ability to catch balls in traffic. He uses both his strength and size to grab balls in coverage, and has shown a great ability to move with the ball after the catch. The concern over Treadwell is that he won't be able to create separation at the NFL level, especially if he's defended by an opponent's top defensive back.

Treadwell has come back healthy this season, after breaking his fibula and dislocating his ankle against Auburn last season. The injuries don't seem to have any negative impact on Treadwell this season, and that is likely something scouts are happy to see.

The junior wide receiver is expected to declare for the draft after this season, and is considered the fourth best reciever available, according to Walter Football. Treadwell has 35 receptions this year for 510 yards, with three touchdowns. Last week against New Mexico State, Treadwell put on a clinic, with 136 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. The issue is that against Florida, scouts saw him struggle, as he was only able to make five catches for 42 yards.

The concern is that if Treadwell had trouble creating separation with the Gators' secondary, he will potentially have that same trouble at the next level.

Ole Miss only has one loss this season, but if they can continue to win in the SEC, Treadwell will likely garner more attention. This is probably Treadwell's last season to impress scouts, and he will need to show that he can separate from defenders at this level before the end of the season.
