Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are having a baby! The 29-year-old swimsuit model and the 36-year-old singer made the announcement earlier today on social media that they're expecting their first child.

"John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :) As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family," Teigen captioned the adorable black and white photo of the two. "We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx."

The two met when she was 20, have been married since September 2013, and publicly decided last February that it was about that time to start trying. "We definitely have plans for kids," she told ABC News at the time. "I want a ton, he wants a ton, so I guess it's time to start."

While on her new talk show "FABlife" about a month ago, Teigen actually opened up about her struggles to get pregnant. She revealed that she was sick of people asking her when they would be having children because she wasn't very vocal about her struggles and kept it private between the couple. "Because who knows what somebody is going through," she said. "Who knows if somebody is struggling...Anytime somebody asks me if I'm going to have kids, I just am like, one day you're going to ask that to the wrong girl who is really struggling and it's going to be really hurtful to them and I hate that. So I hate it, stop asking me."

Luckily for Teigen, she won't have to deal with that struggle anymore. Congrats to the happy couple!
