After a strong debut, "Marvel's Daredevil" will introduce two big characters from its comic book lore in the second season and they both make an appearance in the first teaser for the new season.

Elodie Yung becomes Elektra, pulling a mask over the bottom half of her face, and Jon Bernthal's Punisher pumping a shotgun and asking someone to beg in the first look clip that leaked after its premiere at New York Comic Con 2015.

As for Daredevil himself, the man inside the red suit, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), still feels guilt despite putting down Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) and seeks counseling from his priest to clear his conscious.

"Guilt can be a good thing," the priest tells him. "It's the soul's call to action. Vindication that your work is not yet finished."

The teaser also shows Murdock sitting in the pews with his best friend and law partner Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and their colleague Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll); Foggy staring in shock over a rooftop ledge; Karen examining the X-ray of a human head; and Rosario Dawson in her Claire Temple scrubs.
