A Florida mother who killed her three children back in March was ready to die when she called in the murder incident to the police. She prepared a suicide note and wanted to die via suicide by cop.

The police records show that the 33-year-old Jessica McCarty was "so pissed" she wasn't killed by the police, who responded at the crime scene. She said to the authorities that she did not deserve to go on living after murdering her children.

She was seized by authorities and found blood all over the kitchen, living room and their couch.

"I'm so pissed you guys didn't shoot me with a real gun. I don't deserve to live," McCarty said as she was rushed to the emergency room, the police say, according to the Daily Mail.

Detective Lewis Jones of Palm Bay also released notes where McCarty said "I wish I'd finished the job." The notes had become part of the public record after being requested the public defender's office, Florida Today reported.

McCarty had previous records related to legal troubles and had been reported to have mental health problems. She had been previously arrested for forging medical prescriptions and illegally acquiring painkillers and had attempted suicide twice in the past. She said to the authorities that she was raped twice and her first encounter was when she was 7 years old, Florida Today added.

Found in her Palm Bay house were the bodies of her three children, Lacey, 7, Philip, 6, and a 5-month-old baby. McCarty told her relatives how she and her boyfriend Christopher Swist are having relationship problems and that he temporarily left the house. She now faces the death penalty and three first-degree murder charges, the New York Daily News reported.
