Taylor Swift had a busy year following the release of her mega-successful fifth album "1989," and she took time to reflect in a new interview with British music magazine NME, Billboard reported. Swift said that she's thinking about taking time off after her "1989 World Tour" wraps up in December.

"I think I should take some time off. I think people might need a break from me," Swift told NME.

Swift said she's aware that her every move is being chronicled in the media, and she spoke candidly on how she handles the pressure of constantly being in the public eye.

"I'm in the news every single day for multiple different reasons," she says. "And it can feel, at times, if you let your anxiety get the better of you, like everybody's waiting for you to really mess up - and then you'll be done. A lot of the time I need to call my mom and talk for a really long time, just to remind myself of all the things that are great and all the things that matter."

But fans shouldn't panic yet because Swift is still unsure about what the next year will bring. Although she's written a few songs for a future release, she still hasn't decided if or when she'll take time off and what she would do with that free time.

"I'm going to... I don't know. Hang out with my friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music," Swift told NME. "I don't know."

In the interview, she also dished on the lesson she learned from her Twitter exchange with hip hop artist Nicki Minaj before the MTV Video Music Awards, as previously reported by HNGN. She also spoke about her patched friendship with Kanye West.
