Elizabeth Olsen recently talked with USA Today to promote the DVD/blu-ray release of "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Naturally, the conversation turned toward her future role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as she plays Wanda Maximoff. At the conclusion of "Age of Ultron," the possible seeds of a connection between her character and Paul Bettany's The Vision were planted. Could a romance be brewing between the two?

"It has to be House of M," Olsen said when asked about the subject. "House of M" was a popular comic book storyline that involved both characters. "That's still all I want to do, I don't care. I would just love to have make-believe children and have him play along with it and then just decide to destroy all mutants. That would be so fun but obviously that would never happen."

That won't happen because Marvel Studios does not own the rights to any mutant (read: "X-Men") storylines.

However, Olsen promised that "Captain America: Civil War" will more than make up for any missing details. She said it's "so crazy and mind blowing being part of something that has that wide audience internationally" and that she is "loving every time I get to go back to playing Scarlet Witch."

Olsen believes Wanda is "coming into her own" throughout "Civil War" and "starting to understand and have conflict with how she wants to use her abilities." Overall, she said of the film:

"It's a dramatic conflict within her and obviously there's conflict within the (Avengers) as well. I like that they didn't release Scarlet Witch in the promo photos for the teams - it places her as being a wild card, and I like her having that kind of edge that people don't know what she's capable of. They can fear her because she is so incredibly powerful in a different way than the rest of the heroes for the most part. I like playing that role within the gang."

"Captain America: Civil War" will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
