Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema is not happy with his lack of playing time, especially because he leads La Liga in scoring, according to AS.comNot many clubs substitute off their top scorer and only use him for part of a match, especially when he is one of the best at his position in the world.

Madrid manager Rafa Benitez has only played Benzema for a full 90 minutes just one time this season, according to Bleacher Report.

The move by Benitez has caused Benzema to voice his opinion on the matter after the club's recent 1-1 draw against rival Atletico Madrid. A reporter asked the Frenchman if he was "fed up" with being substituted.

"Yes, it's true. I'm a relaxed person and will keeping work hard so I'm not the player who gets taken off. I was subbed to make the team more defensive given the result" stated Benzema.

While there is obvious frustration with Benzema toward his manager's tactics, however, like he stated, he is not the type of person to attack a coach or voice public displeasure at length. Even though he is trying to avoid doing that to a large extent, his comments after Madrid's last match were enough to fuel the transfer rumors fires yet again.

With Benzema clearly not happy with his role, there are talks of Premier League club Arsenal coming in to snatch up the French striker, with these talks sounding more and more possible. The Gunners need help up top, especially with Oliver Giroud not playing his best soccer right now.

Bringing in a second French striker could spark a needed revolution for the floundering forward play for Arsenal. Yes, the Gunners are still scoring goals and winning matches, however, those goals are coming from midfielder players, not their men up top. The addition of Benzema to Arsenal would be just what the doctor ordered, and help the title hopes rage on in England.
