Barbecues have gotten the best of yet another woman as she tried to stab her brother because he ate her ribs, according to Uptown Magazine. Austin Police arrested Ethel Jean Banks, 61, on Sept. 27 on charges of aggravated assault (family violence), which is a second-degree felony.

Banks was arrested for threatening and chasing her brother with a knife, all because he ate her barbecue ribs, Epic Times reported.

Banks' brother, the victim in this barbecue incident, claims that he didn't know they were Ethel Jean's ribs, according to Breitbart. When she came at him with a butcher knife, officials say he fled the home and called 911.

This latest incident is the second time Austin Police have responded to the Banks home this year, over a barbecue no less. Austin PD responded to another scuffle between Ethel Jean and a family member in June of this year.

And this is not the only barbecue crimes this year. Sabrina Davis of Muncie, Ind. was arrested earlier this year when she stabbed a friend in the eye with a fork. Davis and the victim quarreled over the last rib at a family cook-out, as previously report by HNGN.
