Michigan State is currently on a roll when it comes to their recruiting of 2016 players. Tom Izzo and company have already received commitments from one five-star player and two four-star players, all three of which are top 50 recruits. Cassius Winston committed to the Spartans about two weeks ago and they look to keep the momentum going on Saturday as Miles Bridges is set to announce where he will play his college basketball, according to Eric Woodyard of MLive.com.

Bridges is from Flint, Michigan and has made it clear in the past that he loves where he's from and for that reason, along with the fact that he reportedly loved his official visit to Michigan State, it seems as though the Spartans are the clear favorites to land the five-star forward, according to Evan Daniels of Scout.com.

Bridges is also considering Indiana and Kentucky for where he will play basketball in 2016 and just a few months ago it seemed as though he was likely headed to Lexington but after his visit to East Lansing it seemed to have turned the tide.

Bridges is a 6 foot-6 small forward who is considered one of the top prospects in all of the 2016 class. ESPN ranks Bridges as the eighth best prospect and the third best small forward in his class. Bridges is a lefty who has tremendous athleticism and can seemingly get anywhere on the court whenever he wants. Some think he profiles more as a face-up four than he does as a three at the college level because he is not a great perimeter shooter but he is a willing passer and can handle the ball with either hand.

Michigan State already has a top three recruiting class for 2016 at the moment, thanks to their three previous commits, but Bridges would almost definitely move them to the number one class in the nation. Bridges would fit in nicely with the Spartans current 2016 recruits as they have a point guard, a shooting guard and a power forward which would leave Bridges as the small forward.

Bridges will announce on Saturday and although it seems very likely that he will choose Michigan State it's tough to count out John Calipari and Kentucky. A Bridges commitment would be huge for the Spartans as they look to continue to dominate the Big Ten.
