Rockstar Games latest installment in the popular "Grand Theft Auto" franchise boasts its largest open world map yet. The area is vast and can fit the entire map of "Grand Theft Auto IV," and "Red Dead Redemption" in it. Users can go up in the air, climb mountains and even explore the depths of the ocean. With so much area to work with, its not surprising that the game makers decided to have a little fun and include a few Easter Eggs here and there. Below are a few of the more exciting once to spend your time exploring.

Are you a fan of the TV show "Lost?" If so you might be interested in a recently discovered homage to the series hidden under the sea in GTA V. There is a hatch at the bottom of the ocean near the east coast of Sandy Shores. Grab a sub or some Scuba gear and you'll be able to find a hatch with a mysterious bright light, clearly a reference to the hit show. Be warned, getting too close to the hatch will near-instantaneously kill you, however it can be observed from a safe distance. You can check out more details on how to find it HERE via IGN.

Big foot has made an appearance in other GTA titles, and this one is no different. The missing link can be found Predator Mission. He can be seen hidden mostly behind a tree from your helicopter's vantage point. He is hard to see unless you switch to your IR scope.  After finishing the game 100%, IGN reports that you'll be able to fine a random mission that allows you to go hunting for the creature.

Another Easter Egg worth checking out is the Vinewood zombie. Up in Vinewood hills near the cinema you can meet a rather strange character on the side of the road. Check out the video below for details. Overall he seems like a harmless actor in making looking for his big break. However, one can never be too careful when it comes to the infected. He will reportedly always be in that same spot if you want to go and say hello.

For information on more Easter Eggs, including a lady in white ghost with an in-game Internet back story, an abandoned Alien space craft and a sea monster skeleton, check out the full rundown of Easter Eggs HERE.
